Dental Implants

• Upper Jaw
  Patients should get an X-ray of their Upper Jaw at a local private Dentist. This is called an OPG and costs from £20. Please get a hard copy or a CD from the dentist, and send it to me. I will forward it on to the Dental Surgeon in India to confirm that implants are a possible treatment.
  
  You will then fly out to India for 10 days, during which time any teeth will be extracted, and the implants fitted. It is anticipated fitting 6 implants which will later hold a removable bridge and teeth. The implants are either Nobel Biocare ( Swedish ) or Bio Horizon ( US ). However it may be necessary to fit an extra 1 or 2 implants at an additional cost of £625 per implant. You will then return home wearing a temporary denture.
  
  3 months later after the gums have healed you will return to Delhi. This time you will stay for 3 weeks whilst the bridges and teeth are fitted. These are made of metal and ceramics, either Kulzar ( Germany ) or Bego ( Italy ).
  
  The cost, including all dental charges and 3* hotel accommodation is £7000 plus flights.
   
• Lower Jaw
  The cost is also £7,000. The arrangements and prosthetics are as for the upper jaw, except that the number of implants is anticipated to be 4. Up to 2 extra implants may be required at an additional cost of £625 per implant.
  
  It may be possible to combine this treatment with other cosmetic surgery procedures.
