Not surprisingly the cost in India is much less. The costs quoted include all hospital costs and 4 or 5 star hotel accommodation depending on the season. The only extra is the flight - about £450 return from UK to New Delhi.  Thus the total cost for a clinical package can still be half of the cost in the UK. Why?  Simply because the cost of living in India is so low. However unlike other countries with low income levels, surgical expertise and hospital standards are as good as many in USA or UK, and without the additional problem of high infection rates associated with some UK hospitals.

A direct return flight from, for example, London, UK to Delhi takes about the same time as to Florida, USA. Once in Delhi hotel accommodation is selected to make the patient (and their partner) as comfortable as possible.

Also a programme for the patient's stay in India is carefully constructed to promote a good recovery and allow ( if requested) for tourist activities. A visit can be made to the SUNRISE Naturopathy Health Resort.  This self contained village is near Jaipur ( about 2 hours drive from Delhi) and offers a personally tailored experience for mind, body and soul that complements the medical treatment that the patient has received and so aids recuperation. The programme includes herbal massage therapy, aroma therapy, mud baths, yoga, meditation, stress management and relaxation techniques as well as conventional physiotherapy, acupressure and dietary advice.

The resort also has a diagnostic lab, and will carry out any rehabilitative prescription ordered from the treating hospital in Delhi.
